These heat exchangers are mainly used for sulfuric acid and/or heat recovery from corrosive flue or process gas.

Application in:

• Gas refineries for gas purification and sulfuric acid recovery

• Chemical industries for sulfuric acid production

• Production facilities with exhaust air purification systems
  

Possible applications:

• Suitable for use with extremely corrosive gases and operating temperatures below the acid dew point

• Stainless steel housing – requires NO corrosion protection

• Fluoropolymer-lined housing (resistant up to approx. 260 degrees Celsius)

• Special silicone seals for the glass tubes made of PFA material

• Special glass tubes as heat exchanger surface
